About Eastlyn & Joshua

Wedding and Elopement Photographers Based in Ohio and Jackson Hole

We photograph weddings and elopements throughout Ohio and regularly work in Jackson Hole, as well as select destinations around the world.

We’re Eastlyn and Joshua, a married photography team who believe your wedding day is more than a timeline or a checklist. It is a lived experience shaped by the people you love, the way the day unfolds, and the small moments that pass quickly but end up meaning everything later. Over the years, we’ve seen that the photographs people treasure most are rarely the ones that were the most perfectly styled, but the ones that bring them back to how the day actually felt, which is often what makes wedding photos meaningful years later.

Over the past decade, we’ve photographed weddings and elopements across the U.S. and internationally, working with couples in both familiar places and completely new landscapes. Our work has taken us from backyard gatherings and estate weddings to remote vow exchanges in places like Patagonia, the Tetons, and the far corners of the national parks.

We’re based in Ohio, but we spend a lot of time in Jackson Hole and return throughout the year to photograph weddings and elopements in Grand Teton National Park and the surrounding area. That balance gives us a mix of worlds we love, thoughtful weddings in Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati, along with intimate elopements and wedding weekends in Wyoming and beyond.

No matter where we are, what we are drawn to most is honesty. The real emotion, the quiet moments before the ceremony, the way people look at each other when they forget the camera is there. Those are the parts of the day that end up holding the most meaning, and they are the moments we care most about preserving.

Our Approach

We show up with care and pay close attention to what is actually unfolding.

Some moments need a little guidance, and others need space. We move between both, always watching what is happening and responding in a way that feels natural rather than forced.

We photograph every wedding together as two lead photographers, not a lead and assistant. That means your day is being seen from multiple perspectives at all times, without rushing or missing moments while switching between roles. It’s one of the core parts of how we work, and one of the reasons the day often feels calm and complete for our couples. Having two experienced photographers present allows the story to be documented more fully, especially during the small in-between moments that end up meaning the most, which is part of why we choose to photograph weddings this way.

Many couples describe wanting a wedding that feels elevated, but in our experience that usually has less to do with excess and more to do with feeling supported, present, and free to fully enjoy the day.

You don’t need to perform or know how to pose. Our goal is for you to feel comfortable and at ease with each other so the day can happen naturally.

We’re not interested in creating a version of your day that looks like someone else’s. We’re there to document what your day actually felt like, not just how it looked.

Our Style

We don’t fit neatly into labels.

Our photography is rooted in natural light, true-to-life color, and a love for images that feel dimensional and alive. We care about how light moves through a space, how emotion shows up on a face, and how a place shapes the feeling of a moment.

Editing is done with a long view in mind. Not trendy. Not heavy handed.

Just honest, lasting, and true to who you are.

A Little More About Us

We love to travel.
We also really love coming home.

Ohio will always be home because it’s where our family roots are. When we’re not photographing weddings or traveling for work, we’re usually doing something simple. Walking through a metro park. Working in the garden. Digging through antique shops looking for pieces with a sense of history.

Travel has always been intertwined with our photography.

If you’re curious where we’re headed next and what destinations we’re currently booking, you can view our travel schedule here.

We believe that if we’re going to photograph in incredible places, we should experience them ourselves. So far, we’ve explored 36 U.S. national parks and traveled through 31 countries and territories, building a deep comfort with planning, navigating, and creating meaningful experiences in unfamiliar places.

Jackson Hole, Wyoming holds a special place in our hearts. It feels like a second home. We’ve also fallen in love with places like Patagonia, the Fiordlands of New Zealand, the Faroe Islands, the Swiss Alps, and Lofoten.

Hiking is one of our favorite ways to spend time together, especially when the trail ends with a view or a cold lake.

We also have a soft spot for what most people call “bad” weather. Some of our favorite moments have happened when clouds hung heavy, rain rolled in, and then the light broke through in a way we never expected. The kind of sunsets you cannot plan for. The kind that leave a permanent imprint.

We love the challenge of a long, strenuous mountain hike. The way it pushes us, brings out the best kind of teamwork, and almost always rewards you with something unforgettable at the end.

That same sense of curiosity and exploration shows up in how we photograph.

Let’s Tell Your Story

We’re calm, prepared, and deeply invested in the people we work with.

Whether you’re planning a full wedding weekend in Ohio or exchanging vows on a trail in Jackson Hole, we’d love to document your day in a way that feels meaningful and true to who you are.

Kind Words

...though we fell in love with their amazing photography to begin with, it wasn’t until after we met them that we realized how little their work has to do with actual light, shutter speed, or aperture, but rather with their desire to live life fully, capture and tell stories, and marvel at the moments that make love beautiful and unique.
You are above and beyond. You captured our day so beautifully! The love is there. The joy. Our families. Our friends. The camp-y-ness. The fun. The details. All of it is there. It’s really more than I could have imagined. I cannot understate how much I appreciate everything you and Joshua have done. Thank you for being amazing. You are truly artists.
We could not ask for a better experience with our photographers! Eastlyn and Joshua took the time to know us and share our story meaningfully through their photography. They were professional, diligent, and creatively invested. We loved our time with them and felt truly known. We recommend them 100% to future clients!
When we received our wedding photos, they brought us right back to those moments. They were beautiful. Their edits perfectly illustrated the way the day had felt. The tones were soft and fresh, making the images look timeless rather than on trend. The photos themselves felt like poetry. They perfectly tell the story of our day with authentic smiles, laughs, and tender moments. There were the classic group portraits to keep the family happy, but other than that, each captured moment depicts a real memory rather than a forced pose, and they worked in such a way that we rarely knew we were being photographed. Eastlyn and Joshua were such a huge part of our wedding, and we’ll forever cherish the memories they’ve given us. We’re so grateful for everything they’ve done for us, and we honestly couldn’t recommend them more.
I don’t even know where to start…. If you are looking for professional, skilled, attentive photographers, you have found the right couple. Eastlyn and Joshua were so amazing to work with. They were easy to communicate with and quick to respond to my several inquiries. They did their homework on our elopement location and made sure it would capture all the aspects I was looking for. During the wedding day, they were calm and patient, making my nerves disappear. We had so much fun taking our photos and I can’t stop looking at the finished products. Our photos are perfect and we couldn’t be happier with our photographer choice!
